Ferry Witches Brew

A Reddish Copper Ale with a nicely hopped flavour creating a wonderfully well balanced Ale any aspiring witch would be proud of :-) Unfined & Naturally Hazy.

Brewers, in the 17th Century, were prohibited from selling beers on the Sabbath (church day) and years after being fined for such an offence, Margaret Moubray, Janet Lowrie and Helen Young were charged and convicted for ‘Witchcraft’. Helen who was deemed to be too old was spared the punishment of being burned on the stake at Ferrymuir.
